Roman Kolosionek

Roman Kolosionek has a varied and extensive work experience spanning several roles and companies. Roman began their career as a Co-Op Engineer at GE in 1985. This was followed by a position as a Process Control Engineer at LTV Steel from 1986 to 1990, where they received management awards and supervised workers in the electrical maintenance department.

Roman then worked as an IT Contractor at Kelly Temporary Svc and N.J. Petterson, Inc, where they coded and tested research programs, trained individuals, and assisted in system management and troubleshooting. Roman also documented existing code and provided support for DEC VAX computers running VMS.

In 1994, Roman joined N.J. Petterson, Inc. as an IT Contractor assigned to LTV Steel, where they administered an AlphaServer cluster and Windows NT computers. Their responsibilities included system administration, user management, monitoring system performance, and installing software upgrades.

From 2001 to 2002, Roman worked as a Part Time Computer Instructor at Ohio Business College, where they taught computer classes.

In 2002, Roman joined The Timken Company as an Applications Programmer/Analyst. Roman was responsible for developing and maintaining applications and was a member of a team that rewrote a scheduling system for a mill using VB.NET and Microsoft SQL Server.

Roman continued their role as an Applications Programmer/Analyst at TimkenSteel Corporation from 2014 to 2022. Roman was responsible for developing and maintaining applications and was part of a team that rewrote the scheduling system for a mill using VB.NET and Microsoft SQL Server.

Most recently, in 2022, Roman joined Olympic Steel as a Programmer Analyst, although specific details about their role are not provided.

Roman Kolosionek attended Case Western Reserve University from 1981 to 1986, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering.
