OLYRA
Yannis Varellas Ouzounopoulos has a diverse set of work experience. Yannis began their career in 2007 with a part-time job rotation at FLOURMILLS THRAKIS I.OUZOUNOPOULOS SA. In 2010, they completed an internship at Korres, followed by another internship at Alpha Bank in 2011. In 2014, Yannis joined FLOURMILLS THRAKIS I.OUZOUNOPOULOS SA again, this time as the Innovations & New Products Development Manager. After four years in this role, they founded their own company, OLYRA, in 2017, where they have been the CEO.
Yannis Varellas Ouzounopoulos pursued their education in the field of Chemical Engineering, starting in 2007. From 2007 to 2014, they attended the National Technical University of Athens where they earned their Master of Science (MS) degree. In 2012, they briefly attended the University of Cambridge to complete their Diploma Thesis, focusing on the intersection of Chemical Engineering and Biotechnology.
