Qazi Vaquas

Qazi Vaquas is an accomplished professional in information security, currently serving as the Assistant Manager of Information Security & Policies at OMA Emirates Group LLC since January 2019. In this role, Qazi has led the development and implementation of security policies that align with industry standards and regulatory requirements, effectively communicating these to stakeholders to ensure compliance and data protection. Prior to this position, Qazi held various roles at dzcard from May 2012 to December 2018, including Senior Information Security Engineer and Assistant Information Security Manager, where responsibilities included managing IT infrastructure, enhancing information security measures, conducting risk assessments, and ensuring compliance with PCI-DSS standards. Qazi holds a Bachelor of Computer Applications (BCA) degree from Sikkim Manipal University, completed through distance education between 2011 and 2014.
