Dasia Horne is a seasoned professional in program management and youth services, currently serving as a Senior Program Manager at the Omaha Community Foundation since March 2023 while also working as a Mentor Consultant for MENTOR Nebraska. Additionally, Dasia is the Founder and President of Well-Read Women of Omaha, reflecting a commitment to community engagement. Previous roles include Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, and Belonging Coordinator at Heartland Family Service, Family Engagement Specialist at Educare Omaha, and various positions in educational support at Metropolitan Community College and Big Brothers Big Sisters of the Midlands. Dasia holds a Bachelor of Arts in Child, Youth, and Family Studies from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln, complemented by extensive experience in developing programs to aid children and families in achieving successful outcomes.
