Kelly Nielsen is a strategic public health and healthcare leader with extensive experience in community health initiatives. Currently serving as the Director of the Omaha Pathways Community HUB at Omaha Community Foundation since May 2023, Kelly has previously held significant roles at CHI Health, including Division Vice President for Strategy & Healthy Communities. In these positions, Kelly aligned business strategies with community benefits to address pressing health needs through advocacy and partnerships. Early career experiences include roles at the Nebraska Department of Health and Human Services focused on injury prevention, as well as various positions involving child health and behavior intervention at institutions like Live Well Omaha Kids and the University of Nebraska Medical Center. Kelly holds a Master of Public Health from Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health and advanced degrees in Educational Psychology and Neuroscience.
