Sydney Calcagno

Sydney Calcagno is an experienced professional in philanthropic services and program management, currently serving as a Philanthropic Services Advisor at Omaha Community Foundation since September 2021. Previously, Sydney held various positions at Storytime Village, Inc., including Program Director, where over $300,000 in grants and fund requests were successfully managed, alongside curriculum development and communication for organizational programming. Sydney also served as Editor in Chief for Mikrokosmos and mojo Literary Journals, managing a team and overseeing the publication process. Additional experience includes a role as Graduate Teaching Assistant at Wichita State University, focusing on English composition, and special project management at MEAT+POULTRY Magazine. Sydney earned a Master of Fine Arts in Creative Writing from Wichita State University and a Bachelor of Arts in English Writing and Strategic Communication from Rockhurst University.
