Charles Manternach

Charles Manternach is an experienced engineering professional with a strong background in substation design and electrical engineering. Since March 2001, Charles has served in various roles at the Omaha Public Power District, including Principal Substation Engineer, Supervisor of Protection Engineering, and Lead Substation Design Engineer. Prior to this, Charles worked as an Electrical Engineer at Utility Engineering/APA, Inc. and held the position of Chief Engineer at Pedersen Power Products. Earlier in the career, Charles accumulated valuable experience as a Substation Supervisor at MidAmerican Energy and as a Technical Supervisor and Electrical Engineer at Iowa Power. Charles holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from Iowa State University, completed in 1987, and graduated from Cascade High School in 1983.
