Jeff Hanson

Jeff Hanson currently serves as the Manager of Communications Strategy & Technology at Omaha Public Power District, a position held since April 2016, following over a decade of experience as Manager of Public Information at the same organization. Prior to that, Jeff worked as a Public Safety Information Officer for the Nebraska State Patrol and owned Hanson Communications for a brief period. Jeff's career in journalism spans from 1973 to 1989, with roles in various television newsrooms across Nebraska, Texas, and Michigan. Educational qualifications include an MBA in Business from Bellevue University and two degrees from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln: a Master’s in Communications and a Bachelor’s in Journalism.
