Joanne Li

Joanne Li, Ph.D., CFA, currently serves as the Barbara & Wally Weitz Endowed Chair of Higher Education at the University of Nebraska at Omaha and also holds the position of Chancellor at the Federal Reserve Bank of Kansas City's Omaha Branch. With extensive board involvement, Joanne Li is a member of the Board of Trustees for the Higher Learning Commission, an Executive Committee Member of the Coalition of Urban and Metropolitan Universities, and part of the EFMD Global Network Americas Advisory Board. Additionally, Joanne Li serves on the boards of Omaha Symphony and Opera Omaha, and holds an ex-officio role at the Greater Omaha Chamber. Joanne Li's educational credentials include a Ph.D. in Finance with a focus on Corporate Governance from Florida State University and several leadership and executive education programs from prestigious institutions such as Harvard and Wharton.
