Chris Machian has extensive experience in photography and education, currently serving as a staff photographer, drone pilot, and lead gigapan engineer at the Omaha World-Herald since 2003. Alongside this role, Chris has been an adjunct professor at Creighton University since August 2016 and the owner of Machian Photo since 2004. Prior experience includes working as a specialist at Apple Retail from 2006 to 2011 and holding positions as a photographer and systems administrator at both Gateway Newspaper and UNO Gateway from 1997 to 2004. Chris holds a Master of Arts in Journalism from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln and a Bachelor’s degree in Journalism from the University of Nebraska at Omaha.
