Sarah Johnson is an experienced bird keeper at Omaha's Henry Doorly Zoo and Aquarium since September 2016, responsible for the daily husbandry and welfare of the bird collection while also serving as the primary trainer. Prior roles include an animal care intern position, where Sarah gained foundational animal care skills through direct collaboration with zookeepers, and internships at Como Park Zoo and Conservatory, as well as Roosevelt Park Zoo, focusing on primates and African hoofstock, respectively. Education includes a Bachelor of Arts in Environmental Studies from Gustavus Adolphus College and an Associate of Arts in Liberal Arts from Mesabi Range Community and Technical College.
