Lance Shorr has a strong background in restaurant operations. Lance is currently the Sr. Director of Operations at Omakase Restaurant Group since February 2022. Prior to this, they worked at Tastes On The Fly from March 2015 to March 2020, initially as a Director of Operations overseeing 10 locations at SFO International Airport. Lance then continued in the same role with additional responsibilities, including full-service restaurants, artisan markets, and quick-service concepts. Before joining Tastes On The Fly, Lance was the Director of Operations at M.Y. China Restaurants from March 2012 to February 2015.

Lance Shorr attended the California Culinary Academy from 1984 to 1985, where they pursued a degree in Culinary Arts, focusing on Culinary Arts/Chef Training.
