Stephen Kavanagh

Stephen Kavanagh is an accomplished aviation executive with extensive experience in strategic leadership and governance roles. Currently serving as a Non Executive Director at Norwegian, CDB Aviation, Oman Airports Management Company, and Oman Air, Kavanagh also co-chairs the Aer Lingus College Football Classic Organising Committee and holds an Advisory Board Member position at AAP Aviation. Previously, Kavanagh enjoyed a long tenure at Aer Lingus, culminating in various C-Suite roles, notably as Chief Executive Officer and Chief Commercial Officer. Kavanagh has also contributed as a lecturer in Airline Management at UCD Michael Smurfit Graduate Business School and participated in the International Airlines Group Management Committee. An alumnus of the year in 2017, Kavanagh holds a Master of Business Studies from UCD and is currently pursuing a Certificate in Finance for Boards at IMD.
