Nawal al Mahrouqi

Nawal Al Mahrouqi worked at Oman LNG L.L.C. as a Lead Treasury and Risk Management since August 2022. Previously, they held positions as a Senior Treasury Officer from January 2019 to September 2022, a Treasury Officer from December 2017 to January 2019, and a Financial Analyst from December 2015 to December 2017. Prior to their tenure at Oman LNG, they worked briefly as an Investment Analyst at Oman Investment Fund from September 2015 to November 2015. In 2014, they worked at Oman Liquefied Natural Gas (OMAN LNG) as a Governance & Compliance, Risk & Compliance, Treasury Accountant for a short period from July 2014 to August 2014.

Nawal Al Mahrouqi completed their Bachelor's degree in Finance from Sultan Qaboos University in 2015. In 2016, they pursued Accounting and Finance studies at ACCA for two years. Nawal then obtained the Financial Modeling and Valuation Analyst (FMVA) certification from the Corporate Finance Institute® in 2020. In the same year, Nawal pursued an MSc in Professional Accountancy from the University of London. Nawal has also acquired various additional certifications, including Strategic Thinking, Digital Transformation, and Business Development from LinkedIn. Nawal obtained the ACCA certification in 2019 and has participated in competitions and challenges like the CFA Institute Research Challenge and CIMA's Global Business Challenge.
