Rashid Ibrahim Alkindi

Rashid Ibrahim Alkindi has extensive experience in sports management and coaching, with significant roles in various organizations. Since April 2015, Rashid has served as Chairman of the High Organising Committee for Oman Sail, contributing to events like the Wind Surfing World Championship in 2015 and the Laser Radial World Championship. Rashid has also been the National Race Team & Community Sailing Program Manager at Oman Sail since March 2011, focusing on making sailing accessible to the Omani community and developing national sailing teams. Previous roles include Managing Director of the Alamerat Challenge Running Race, Director of Sports for the Muscat Asian Beach Games Organising Committee, and Deputy Director of the Sports Excellence Department at the Ministry of Sports Affairs. Rashid possesses a Bachelor's Degree in Physical Education Teaching and Coaching from Luhansk Taras Schevchenko National University and has a background in business administration.
