Elvira Diamantopoulou has extensive work experience in the scientific field. Elvira began their career in 2011 as an Intern at the In Vitro Fertilisation Clinic Genesis, where they shadowed embryologists to learn IVF techniques. Elvira then completed a research dissertation (Diploma thesis) at the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki. From 2012 to 2014, they held various roles at the University of Leicester, including Research Assistant, Laboratory Demonstrator, and a 9-month research project on S100 proteins in Epithelial to Mesenchymal Transition. From 2014 to 2019, they worked as a Senior Scientist at Excellerate Bioscience Ltd. Elvira currently holds the same role at OMass Therapeutics, where they have been since 2020.
Elvira Diamantopoulou completed a Bachelor's Degree in Biology, General from Aristotle University of Thessaloniki (AUTH) between 2007 and 2012. Elvira then went on to receive a Master's Degree in Cancer cell and molecular biology from The University of Leicester between 2012 and 2013. Lastly, they obtained a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Biomedical Sciences, General from The University of Sheffield between 2014 and 2018.
