Maria Musgaard

Maria Musgaard has a diverse work experience in the field of biochemistry and computational chemistry. Maria is currently working as a Principal Scientist at OMass Therapeutics since July 2021. Prior to this, they held the position of Adjunct Professor at the University of Ottawa from 2018 to 2021. During their time at the University of Ottawa, they also served as an Assistant Professor and Canada Research Chair II in Computational Biochemistry from 2018 to 2021.

Before joining the University of Ottawa, Maria worked as a Postdoctoral Research Associate at the University of Oxford from 2011 to 2018. Maria also served as a Post Doc at PUMPKIN, Department of Molecular Biology and Genetics, Aarhus University, for a brief period in 2011.

Maria's early career involved working as a PhD student at the Department of Chemistry, Aarhus University, from 2007 to 2011. Additionally, they gained international experience as a Visiting PhD student at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign in 2010.

Maria Musgaard completed their education with a PhD in Medicinal Chemistry from Aarhus University in the years 2007 to 2011. Prior to that, they earned their MSc in Medicinal Chemistry from the same institution between 2003 and 2008. Maria'searlier education includes attending Skive Gymnasium & HF from 1999 to 2002, although their degree and field of study from that period are unknown.
