Minh Huong Ngo

Minh Huong Ngo's work experience includes various roles in different companies. In 2017, they were an Assistante Etudiante and later a Stagiaire, Annotatrice Linguiste at the Bulgarian Academy of Sciences. In 2018, they worked as a Stagiaire at the Institute of Information Technology, Vietnam Academy of Sciences and Technologies. In 2021, they became a Business Analyst at Alexion Pharmaceuticals, Inc. and worked until 2022. Also in 2022, they worked as a Research Intern at the University of Science and Technology of Hanoi - USTH. Currently, they hold the position of Junior Machine Learning Engineer at Omdena.

Minh Huong Ngo has a diverse education history spanning several fields of study. In 2010, they graduated from Hanoi Amsterdam High School for the Gifted with a Diploma of High School Graduation, specializing in English and Chinese. From 2013 to 2014, Minh attended Paris-Sud University (Paris XI), studying Pharmacy and Medicine during their first year of Medical Studies (PACES).

In 2014, Minh began their Bachelor's degree in Applied Mathematics at the Conservatoire National des Arts et Métiers, which they completed in 2019. Simultaneously, from 2014 to 2017, they pursued a Licentiate degree in Applied Foreign Languages (English - Chinese) with a specialization in Translation at the Université Sorbonne Nouvelle.

The next academic endeavor for Minh was attending California State University, Long Beach from 2016 to 2017 as part of an International Exchange Program. Their field of study during this period encompassed International/Global Studies, Linguistics, and Political Sciences.

In 2017, Minh entered the Université Paris Cité to pursue a Master's degree in Computational Linguistics (NLP), which they completed in 2018. Following this, in 2018 and 2019, Minh participated in an Exchange Program at Seoul National University, focusing on Computer Science and Linguistics.

Minh continued their education journey by enrolling at IUT de Paris - Rives de Seine from 2021 to 2022, pursuing a Licence professionnelle in Statistical & Decisional Informatics - Data for Health. Alongside this, from 2020 to 2022, they pursued a Master's degree in Natural Language Processing at the Institute of Digital Sciences, Management, and Cognition (IDMC).

In addition to their formal education, Minh Huong Ngo obtained certifications in specific fields. Namely, in March 2023, they completed the certification "[Turkiye Chapter] AI-Generated Closed Captioning in Movies for Deaf and Hard-of-Hearing (HoH) Individuals" from Omdena Inc. Additionally, in May 2023, they obtained certification in "MOOC Machine Learning in Weather & Climate" from the European Centre for Medium-Range Weather Forecasts.
