Myat Kaung

Myat Kaung is an experienced engineer specializing in machine learning and information technology, currently serving as a CIM Engineer at REC since August 2022 and a Machine Learning Engineer along with leading the Omdena Singapore Chapter since January 2023. Notably, Myat developed an AI-powered fitness application leveraging Mediapipe and TensorFlow.js for real-time body tracking and exercise analysis. Previous experience includes a Machine Learning Internship at REC Solar in early 2021 and a role in IT system support at Creative Labs in 2018. Myat holds a Bachelor of Engineering in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Nanyang Technological University Singapore and a Diploma in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Republic Polytechnic.
