Shani Walter

Shani Walter has a diverse work experience, starting with their current role as Chair of the ShareBaby Board of Directors since January 2021. Previously, they worked as a Managing Director at Omega Healthcare Investors, a Real Estate Investment Trust, starting from March 2015. From 2010 to 2015, Shani held a role in Real Estate at Central Properties LLC.

Prior to that, they worked at American Capital as a Manager on the Financial Analysis and Compliance Team. In this role, Shani supervised and trained analysts, conducted accounting and financial due diligence, and identified and improved operational inefficiencies.

Before their time at American Capital, Shani served as a Senior Corporate Accountant at Royal Caribbean Cruises Ltd. starting from January 2002 until September 2005. Their career began at EY, where they worked as an Associate in Assurance and Business Advisory Services from January 2000 to January 2002.

Shani Walter completed their Bachelor of Arts degree in Accounting at Stetson University from 1995 to 1999. Following that, from 1999 to 2001, they pursued a Masters degree in Accounting at the Florida International University - College of Business.
