Linda Fender has over 30 years of work experience in various roles within the banking industry. Linda started their career as a Teacher at Strasburg Public Schools before transitioning into the banking sector. Linda worked for United Bank as an Assistant Vice President, where they managed and underwrote loans and also served as the Compliance Officer. Linda then joined Vectra Bank Colorado as a Vice President, Senior Credit Officer, Compliance and CRA Officer, where they managed the Commercial Loan Department and provided education and training seminars. After that, they worked at Colorado Capital Initiatives as a Financial Analyst/Underwriter, analyzing and underwriting commercial loan requests for new and existing businesses. Linda then returned to Vectra Bank Colorado as a Senior Vice President, Senior Credit Administrator, responsible for overseeing several departments and serving as a board member for a local chapter of RMA. Linda continued their career at Zions Bancorporation as a Senior Vice President, Credit Administrator, overseeing the implementation and upgrading of the risk grading system and leading a Bancorporation-wide credit skills assessment. Linda's most recent role was at Omega Performance as the VP Commercial Credit and Design, where they were actively involved in designing and developing credit training solutions. Throughout their career, they have demonstrated strong leadership, training, and strategic planning skills.
Linda Fender pursued their education in a diligent and well-rounded manner. From 1974 to 1978, they attended Colorado State University, where they obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree. During their time at this institution, Linda focused on the fields of Spanish, English, Teaching, and Teaching English as a Foreign Language (TEFL). Following their undergraduate studies, Linda continued to expand their knowledge and expertise by enrolling in the Graduate School of Banking at Colorado from 1998 to 2000. Throughout this period, they pursued a Diploma, with a specialization in Banking and Finance. Linda's educational background exhibits a diverse range of subjects, showcasing their commitment to academic growth and professional development.
