Evan Oman

Evan Oman is an experienced software engineer and data science developer with a solid background in creating data-focused applications and analytical systems. Currently serving as a Senior Software Engineer at Omega Point since July 2023, Evan previously held roles at Salt IO as a part-time Data Science Developer, and at ZAIS Group as a Senior Software Architect specializing in data analytics. Evan has a rich history of technical leadership, guiding efforts in cloud architecture and financial calculations, as well as interfacing with clients across the financial industry. With a Master of Science in Applied and Computational Mathematics from the University of Minnesota Duluth, Evan also has a history of developing software solutions for government agencies, receiving accolades for technical contributions, and mentoring students as a graduate teaching assistant.
