Omer Cedar

Omer Cedar is the CEO at Omega Point. Omer has a long history in the business world, starting out as a sales analyst for BEA Systems in 2004. In 2005, they co-founded and built Two Sigma Investments global equity research analyst survey platform. From 2013 to 2019, Omer was the Senior Vice President of Research. In 2019, they made the move to CEO of Omega Point.

Throughout their many years in the business world, Omer has been involved in and managed all aspects of businesses, including research/modeling, product development, and relationship management. Omer has also developed models and conducted classic fundamental Risk Arb research. Not only does Omer have experience in research and product development, but they also have experience working with some of the largest customers to expand footprints for companies.

Omer Cedar has made a name for himself in the business world and will continue to be a powerful force in the industry.

Omer Cedar has an MBA in Quantitative Finance from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and a BS in Electrical Engineering Computer Science from the University of California, Berkeley.
