Rafael Juncal

Rafael Juncal is an experienced ROV Senior Pilot, currently serving at Omega Subsea since July 2024. Prior to this position, Rafael held the same role at ROVOP from July 2023 to June 2024, and at BOURBON for a brief period in 2023, where work focused on the Celtic Link project. From September 2022 to April 2023, Rafael worked as an ROV Supervisor for UnderOcean, managing operations on a 4D Seismic project aboard the vessel Skandi Neptune. Earlier experience includes positions at C-Innovation, TechnipFMC, Oceanica, Accpron UK Ltd, Fugro Survey, and DOF Subsea Norway AS, where Rafael developed skills in various ROV technologies and participated in significant projects such as the Brynhild and Goliat installations. Rafael completed an education at Estácio from 2017 to 2019.
