Evanna Hu has a diverse work experience spanning various industries and roles. Evanna started their career as the CEO and Partner at Omelas in 2016. In 2014, they co-founded and served as the Chief Partnership Officer at Project io, a mobile measurement and image processing technology company. Evanna also worked as a Subject Matter Expert, Technologist, CVE/CT expert, and Facilitator from 2014 to 2017. Evanna Hu held positions as a Tech Fellow at Quilliam from 2017 to 2018, a Board Member at PROMOTE Leadership from 2017 onwards, a Lecturer at NATO in 2017, and the Chairman of the Board at Re:Coded from 2016 onwards. Evanna served as a Fellow in International Security at New America from 2018 to 2019 and as a Nonresident Senior Fellow at Atlantic Council from 2019 onwards. Currently, Evanna Hu is the Senior Advisor on Cyber at the International Republican Institute, starting from 2022.

Evanna Hu attended Upper Arlington High School for their secondary education. Following their high school graduation, they pursued their higher education at the University of Chicago. Evanna completed their undergraduate studies at the university and earned a Bachelor of Arts degree with Honors. Evanna'sfield of study encompassed Political Science and Romance Language and Literature, with a focus on French literature.
