Timothy Durst

Timothy Durst is a Chambers-ranked trial lawyer at O'Melveny, specializing in complex business and intellectual property cases. With extensive courtroom experience, they have managed high-stakes litigation across more than 20 states, including trials in Texas, Delaware, California, and Colorado. Prior to joining O'Melveny in 2021, Timothy served as a partner at Baker Botts LLP for over three decades, where they were the Firmwide Disputes Strategic Lead and Partner-in-Charge of the Dallas Office. Timothy holds a B.A. in Political Science and Communications from Washburn University and a J.D. from Northwestern University Pritzker School of Law. A dedicated community leader, they have served in various capacities, including as chair of the national board of directors for the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society.
