Amar A. Sethi, MD. PhD. has extensive work experience in the field of clinical development and medical research. Amar A. also served as Chief Scientific Officer from 2011 to 2015, where they established a strong presence for the company in the field of bioanalytical sciences and developed novel biomarker portfolios. Additionally, they held the position of Vice-President of Science and Technology from 2009 to 2011, where they led laboratory services and employed new technologies.

Earlier in their career, Dr. Sethi worked at the National Institutes of Health from 2005 to 2009, where they completed a Clinical Chemistry Fellowship and served as a Postdoctoral Scientist. During their time at the NIH, they led the immunology section and conducted research on dysfunctional HDL particles in patients with ischemic heart disease.

Dr. Sethi began their career at Rigshospitalet in 1996, where they worked as a Staff Physician and Senior Registrar. During this time, they completed their residency and a 6-year specialization program to become a Board Certified Clinical Biochemist. Amar A. worked in various departments of laboratory medicine, overseeing sections such as chemistry, immunology, genetic testing, coagulation, and hematology.
