Scott McIntosh

Scott McIntosh has an extensive work experience in the finance industry. Scott has held various roles at different companies over the years.

In 1996, Scott joined Suncorp Investment Management as a Portfolio Manager, specializing in Portfolio Strategy and Design. Scott held this role for over 10 years until 2007.

In 2007, Scott became the Managing Director and Co-Founder of Convex Alternative Strategies. Scott held this position until 2008.

From 2009 to 2010, Scott worked at Goldman Sachs JBWere as a Director.

In 2011, Scott joined Manulife Asset Management as AVP, Investment Management Services. Scott later became the Head of Canadian Asset Allocation & Quant Research in 2012. Their tenure at Manulife lasted until 2013.

Scott then moved to OMERS Capital Markets in 2013 and has held various roles since then. Scott started as the Director of Investment Research, Beta Portfolio Management. From 2015 to 2017, Scott served as the Managing Director, Global Multi-Asset. Scott then became the Senior Managing Director, Global Diversified Program from 2018 to 2023. Currently, Scott is the EVP and Head of Global Multi-Asset Strategies at OMERS Capital Markets.

Throughout their career, Scott McIntosh has acquired a wide range of experience and expertise in asset management, investment research, and portfolio strategy and design.

Scott McIntosh completed their Master of Commerce in Applied Finance at The University of Queensland in 2001. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor of Business from QUT (Queensland University of Technology) in 1996. In 2023, they are expected to pursue a degree in High Performance Leadership from IMD. Additionally, Scott obtained a certification in Leadership Decision Making from Harvard Kennedy School Executive Education in October 2021.
