Bruce Schlein

Bruce Schlein serves as the Director and Global Head of Sustainable Investing at OMERS Infrastructure since July 2021 and is a Board Member of NYCEEC since October 2016. Previously, Schlein held several director roles at Citi from November 2005 to July 2021, including Director of Citi Impact Investing, where responsibilities included launching the Citi Impact Fund and managing investments in renewable energy and efficiency solutions. Other positions at Citi focused on community reinvestment, alternative energy finance, and corporate sustainability, where Schlein led various innovative initiatives and managed relationships with stakeholders. Earlier experience includes roles at Bechtel Corporation as Sustainability Manager, and significant positions at Save the Children US and Catholic Relief Services, further complemented by academic contributions as an Adjunct Professor at Johns Hopkins SAIS. Schlein holds a Master's degree in International Economics from Johns Hopkins SAIS and a Bachelor's degree in Government from Cornell University.
