Bakhtiyor Khafizov

Bakhtiyor Khafizov, CISA, currently serves as Associate Director of IT Audit at OMERS since June 2025. Prior to this role, Bakhtiyor held the position of IT Audit Manager for Technology and Operations in Internal Audit at Aviva Canada from February 2022 to June 2025. Bakhtiyor's previous experience includes stints at EY from May 2017 to February 2022, where roles ranged from Manager in Business Consulting/Technology Risk to various senior positions in Technology Risk. Earlier in Bakhtiyor's career, positions included Senior Tax Accountant at Indy Tax Service and Graduate Assistant for the Department of Technology at Ball State University.
