Russell Bagnato

Russell Bagnato, MIR, is an accomplished HR professional with extensive experience in human resources and employee relations. As the Director, HR Business Partner – Corporate at OMERS since November 2020, Russell provides strategic HR partnership to key executive leadership. Prior to this role, Russell served as the Associate Director, Employee & Labour Relations at OMERS, overseeing global employee and labor relations. Russell's earlier experience includes significant roles at Oxford Properties Group, where Russell was the Senior Manager, Human Resources, responsible for HR business partnering for investment, development, and industrial portfolios, and the Manager, Human Resources for retail operations. Previous HR management positions at the Metro Toronto Convention Centre and SteriPro Canada further highlight Russell's diverse background in the field. Russell holds a Master’s Degree in Industrial Relations from Queen's University, a Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources and Labour Relations from Athabasca University, and an Advanced Diploma in Business Administration - Human Resources from Durham College.
