Bart Bastings

Bart Bastings is a professional with expertise in environmental protection and species safeguarding. Currently serving as a Senior vergunningverlener Wet natuurbescherming soortenbescherming and a vergunningverlener Wnb Soorten at Omgevingsdienst Brabant Noord since August 2020, Bart is involved in critical regulatory processes. Additionally, Bart contributes as a volunteer for the gierzwaluw werkgroep, focusing on the inventory of gierzwaluwnest locations and documenting breeding behavior through camera observations. Bart's prior experience includes an internship with Provincie Noord-Brabant, where a nature assessment and mitigation plan were developed, and another internship at Reserva Playa Tortuga, which involved research on environmental factors affecting crocodilian distribution. Bart holds a Bachelor's degree in Applied Biology from HAS Green Academy, obtained in 2019.
