Dr. Sankar Mukherjee

Dr. Sankar Mukherjee is an experienced machine learning and speech technology expert with a significant background in voice and audio processing. Currently serving as a Senior Machine Learning Engineer at Omilia since August 2023, Dr. Mukherjee focuses on speech deepfake detection and text-to-speech technologies. Previous roles include Machine Learning Engineer at Oxolo, where a generative AI model for voice cloning was developed, and Audio & Voice Algorithm Engineer at GOODIX Technology INC., specializing in neural network architectures for speech enhancement. Dr. Mukherjee's academic credentials include a PhD in Bioengineering and Robotics from the University of Genoa and a Master's degree in Speech Technology from the Indian Institute of Technology, Kharagpur.
