Osman Sabahat

Osman Sabahat is a software engineer with extensive experience in various high-tech environments, currently working at Omitron Inc. since January 2023. Prior to this role, Osman contributed to the Roman Space Telescope project at NASA Goddard from February to December 2022 and worked at Descartes Labs from April 2021 to February 2022. Additionally, software engineering experience includes a tenure at Emergent Space Technologies, focused on NASA Goddard Space Flight Center's Space Science Mission Operations, and a position as a software design engineer at Alion Science and Technology, associated with the Johns Hopkins Applied Physics Laboratory. Osman began a career in technology after serving as a munitions systems specialist in the United States Air Force from January 2009 to January 2015. Educational qualifications include a Master of Science in Computer Science from the Georgia Institute of Technology, a Bachelor of Science in Physics/Astrophysics from the University of Delaware, and an Associate of Science in Munitions Systems/Ordinance Technology from the Community College of the Air Force.
