Matt Macdonald

Matt Macdonald has a diverse work experience in the software engineering field. Matt is currently a Senior Software Engineer at Omni Creator Products since October 2022. Prior to that, they worked at Hulu as a Senior Software Engineer from August 2019 to October 2022, where they focused on improving the Hulu experience for various devices and developed Rust-based tools and UI frameworks. Before Hulu, Matt worked at iStreamPlanet from November 2015 to August 2019 as a Senior Software Development Engineer. Matt also has experience at Ingeniux Corporation as a Software Development Engineer II from June 2012 to November 2015, where they worked on a cross product search service using Lucene. Matt started their career as a Software Development Intern at SEL from May 2010 to May 2012, where they developed a power system visualization tool using Silverlight and MVVM architecture.

Matt Macdonald attended Utah State University from 2007 to 2008, where they studied Computer Science and earned a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree. Matt later attended Washington State University from 2008 to 2011 and obtained another Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree, also in Computer Science.
