Harpal Kapoor

Harpal Kapoor has extensive work experience in the transportation industry, with a focus on transit and rail systems. Harpal has held various leadership roles, including Director/General Manager at Miami-Dade County, where they managed multiple modes of transportation and supervised thousands of employees. Harpal also worked at WMATA, where they coordinated bus engineering and implemented preventative maintenance programs. Harpal has experience in developing and managing staff, planning and design of transit programs, and overseeing procurement and acceptance testing. Harpal has expertise in alternative energy technologies, including hydrogen fuel cell and battery electric technologies. Currently, they are the Founder of BKH2Energy, LLC, where they are developing scalable solutions for renewable hydrogen production.

Harpal Kapoor completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from the National Institute of Technology Kurukshetra, from 1973 to 1978. Prior to this, they pursued their High School education with a Science major at Central School No.1 in Ambala Cantt, India, from 1970 to 1973.
