Dillon Shaffer has a diverse work experience spanning various industries. Dillon started their career as a Cashier at The Home Depot, where they handled cash and credit transactions and provided excellent customer service. Dillon then worked as a Construction Apprentice at Creative Services, where they developed skills in attention to detail, organization, and clear communication with customers.
In 2012, Dillon joined the US Army and underwent training at the Basic Officer Leadership Course, where they excelled and became a certified Air Defense Artillery officer. Dillon then served as an Executive Officer, coordinating large-scale training events and managing equipment and bookkeeping for 45 Soldiers and their families. Dillon later became a Project Manager (Mission Director), commanding a crew of eleven Soldiers and being responsible for operational decisions and equipment worth approximately $235,000,000.
After leaving the military, Dillon worked as a Project Administrator at Nelson Pipeline Constructors, Inc., where they developed skills in the construction industry and streamlined resource supply through RFI processes and submittals. Dillon also implemented information accessibility through a Google Drive folder.
Dillon then joined Island Health & Fitness as a Certified Personal Trainer, where they provided personalized fitness training to clients. Dillon also worked at Cayuga Medical Center at Ithaca as a Medical Office Assistant and later as a COVID Site Project Lead, playing a crucial role in managing projects and coordinating resources during the pandemic. Dillon also served as the Cayuga Coaching Program Coordinator, overseeing the program's operations.
In 2021, Dillon ventured into entrepreneurship, becoming a Business Owner of Dynamic Strength and Endurance and Shaffer Lawn and Garden. Currently, Dillon works at Omnibuild as an Assistant Project Manager, where they utilize their skills and experience to support the project team efficiently.
Dillon Shaffer received a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Business Administration and Management, General from Colorado State University. Dillon attended Colorado State University from 2008 to 2012. Prior to that, they completed their high school education at Air Academy High School from 2004 to 2008. Additionally, Dillon Shaffer obtained a certification in Security+ from CompTIA in November 2015.
