Michele Markus

Michele is a recognized leader in global healthcare communications and currently serves as Omnicom’s Head of Global Health Accounts. Over her 20-year career, Michele has developed and executed commercialization strategies for more than 80 markets, with a particular focus on oncology and access to innovation. She chairs the Board of Advisors for The Alliance for Aging Research and serves as Communications Chair for the Quantum Leap Healthcare Collaborative. Michele has moderated high-profile panels, including an invitation-only discussion with the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS), equity organizations, and pharma leaders on Medicare drug costs and affordability efforts. She is also a sought-after speaker, presenting at prestigious forums like The Aspen Institute, International Society for Pharmacoeconomics and Outcomes Research (ISPOR), and Cannes Lions Health Festival, and as a guest lecturer at NYU Stern School of Business and Columbia Business School. A full-time working mother, Michele balances her impactful career with family activities, from cheering on her tween at basketball games to watching Minecraft videos together.
