Jonavan Smith

Jonavan Smith is a seasoned financial executive currently serving as the Chief Financial Officer for US Strategic Investments at Omnicom Media Group since July 2023. With extensive experience in financial management, Jonavan held various senior finance roles at Resolution Agency from August 2010 to June 2023, culminating in the role of Chief Financial Officer, where responsibilities included overseeing the integration of operations and financial reporting for two business units managing over $3 billion in billings. Previously, Jonavan served as AVP of Portfolio Accounting at Waterton Associates, managing financial reporting and forecasting for funds totaling approximately $3 billion. Early career experience includes a tenure as a Financial Consultant at Ernst & Young, focused on audits across multiple industries. Jonavan’s academic credentials include a Master of Science in Accounting from the University of Virginia and a Bachelor’s in Business Administration from Jackson State University. Additionally, Jonavan has been a board member and Treasurer for the Common Ground Foundation since 2008 and completed the Advanced Management Program at Babson College in 2022.
