Akhil Oltikar

Akhil Oltikar is the Co-Founder and CEO at Omnics, a company they started in 2017. Prior to Omnics, Akhil was a Board Member at CONNECT - San Diego from September 2016 to April 2017. At CONNECT, Akhil helped to create and scale great innovation companies through access to the resources that entrepreneurs & growing companies need most – People, Capital, & Technology. Before CONNECT, Akhil worked as the Vice President, Supply Chain Solutions at Riverwood Solutions Inc. from August 2014 to October 2016. At Riverwood Solutions, Akhil lead the supply chain consulting and solutions business with teams in USA, China, Mexico and Russia. Akhil was specifically engaged with Clients on supply chain strategy, landed cost analysis, logistics network design, S&OP and related IT/Technology services. Akhil conceptualized the ‘M5’ supply chain software solutions platform and built a team to develop and implement the solutions company wide. Akhil lead the company turnaround to profitability and doubled company’s revenue in the first year with greater than 60% gross margins. Before Riverwood Solutions Inc., Akhil worked as the Senior Director at NOVO from September 2001 to July 2014. Akhil also worked as a Project Manager at Remix Oy from January 2001 to August 2001 before it was acquired by Flextronics.

Akhil Oltikar has a M.S. in Industrial Engineering from North Carolina State University and a B.E. in Production Engineering from the University of Mumbai.
