Jon Guerster

Jon Guerster is a seasoned venture capital professional and entrepreneur with extensive experience in sustainable technology and energy efficiency. Currently a Partner at Activate Capital since 2021, Jon is focused on growth stage investments that drive the transformation of the global economy toward sustainability. As an Operating Partner at Tomorrow.io and Board Member for several companies, including Omnidian and HOMEE, Inc., Jon is dedicated to scaling weather intelligence and enhancing asset management in renewable energy. Jon also co-founded and chairs Therm Solutions, which develops carbon markets for the food supply chain, and advises non sibi ventures, which invests in underrepresented founders. Jon’s previous leadership roles include CEO of Dalkia Energy Solutions and co-founder of Groom Energy Solutions, with a foundational background in early stage venture capital as a General Partner at CRV. Jon holds a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering & Computer Science from Duke University and an MBA from Northwestern University's Kellogg School of Management.
