Birgir Ingolf Sigurðsson

Birgir Ingolf Sigurðsson has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. Birgir Ingolf started their career in 1998 as an IT Sales professional at Farodane (SENTA), where they worked until 2002. Following this, they joined Klaksvík Hospital as an IT- and Finance Consultant from 2004 to 2008. From 2008 to 2012, Birgir worked in IT Project Management at Devoteam Consulting.

In 2012, Birgir joined Omnidocs, a document company, where they took on various roles. Birgir Ingolf served as the Solutions Implementation Manager from 2012 to 2014, followed by the position of Head of Consulting Services from 2014 to 2020. During this time, they also became a partner at SkabelonDesign, where they served as the Head of Consulting Services from 2017 to 2021. At Omnidocs, they later transitioned to the role of Head of Client Projects from 2020 to 2022. Currently, Birgir holds the position of Chief Operating Officer and Partner at Omnidocs.

Birgir Ingolf Sigurðsson completed their high school education at Minnetonke High School in 1995-1996, obtaining a Highschool Degree. Birgir Ingolf then went on to enroll at Copenhagen Business School, where they earned a Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Economics and Computer Science from 2002 to 2005. Following that, they pursued a Master of Science (MSc) degree in the same field at Copenhagen Business School from 2005 to 2008. In 2012, they returned to Copenhagen Business School to study International Law and Legal Studies, working towards a Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree. Throughout their education, they obtained various certifications, including MSP Practitioner (Managing Successful Programmes) from APMG International in 2011, ITIL v3 Foundation from HMGovernment (OGC) in 2010, PRINCE 2 Foundation from APMG International in 2010, and TOGAF 9 Certified from OpenGroup in 2010.
