Umit Rencuzogullari

Umit Rencuzogullari has a diverse background in the technology industry. Umit currently holds the position of Chief Technology Officer at Omnifi, starting in September 2022. Prior to that, Umit worked at Google from 2018 to 2022 as a Software Engineer/TLM. Before Google, they served as a Software Engineer at Uber from 2014 to 2018. Umit began their career as a Research Assistant at the University of Rochester, where they worked from September 1997 to March 2003.

Starting from 1988, they pursued a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Engineering at the Middle East Technical University, graduating in 1993. Following this, they enrolled at the University of Rochester in 1997 and completed their PhD in Computer Science in 2004.
