Christian Harding

Christian Harding has a diverse work experience starting from 2009 as a Chemical Stockroom Manager at the College of Charleston. Christian then worked as a Graduate Student at The Ohio State University from 2010 to 2015. Following this, they worked as a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at Washington University in St. Louis from 2015 to 2017, where they conducted research in microbial pathogenesis and infectious diseases. In 2016, Christian founded and served as the CEO of VaxNewMo, LLC, overseeing the development of conjugate vaccines against bacterial threats. Christian also served as a Fellow at the Pipeline Entrepreneurial Fellowship from 2021 to 2022, before becoming the Chief Scientific Officer at Omniose in 2022. In their current role, Christian is involved in the development of bioconjugate vaccines against serious bacterial threats.

From 2005 to 2009, Christian Harding attended the College of Charleston and earned a Bachelor's of Science (B.S.) degree in Molecular Biology. This was followed by attending The Ohio State University from 2010 to 2015, where Christian pursued a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) degree in Biomedical Sciences, with an emphasis in Microbial Pathogenesis. After completing the Ph.D., Christian Harding then pursued a Postdoctoral Fellowship at Washington University in St. Louis from 2015 to 2017, specializing in Microbial Glycobiology.
