Francois Simard

Founder and CEO at Omnirobotic

Francois Simard began their work experience in 1998 as an Employee for Alliance technologique et commerciale. In 2000, they became Co-Founder and CEO of Orus Integration Inc. where they established the software architecture and project control for automation, while also orienting the company's long-term technological development. In 2006, they were a Member of the Board and Founder and CTO for Orus 3D, offering technical advice on product development and market need. From 2010 to 2016, they were VP Software Development for AGT Robotics, analyzing how technological innovation could bring business opportunities in industrial automation and managing the tax credit for research and development. Finally, in 2016 they became Founder and CEO of Omnirobotic inc, a company that seeks to teach industrial robots what they need to do and let them figure out how to do it.

Francois Simard attended Polytechnique Montréal from 1992 to 1996, where they obtained a Bachelor of Applied Science (B.A.Sc.) in Mechanical Engineering.
