J. Curt Thomas

J. Curt Thomas has worked in the legal field for over 20 years. In 2021, they began as Senior Legal Counsel for Omniscient Neurotechnology (o8t), a company that uses a machine learning platform to develop software that converts MRI scans into functional network maps of the brain. From 2017 to 2021, they were Principal and General Counsel for Leave It Design, LLC, responsible for operational, strategic, and administrative leadership. From 2005 to 2017, they were a Commercial and Litigation Partner for Brennan Wasden & Painter, LLC, representing complex non-profits, corporations, hospitals, and healthcare groups with litigation support, operations, governance, and regulatory compliance/privacy matters. In 2004, they worked as a Law Clerk for the United States Attorneys'\u200b Offices Middle District of Georgia, assisting with all aspects of civil litigation for the U. S. Attorney. From 2001 to 2004, they worked as an Optical Fiber Engineer for Lucent Technologies.

J. Curt Thomas received a B.S. in Physics from Georgia State University between 1995 and 2001. J. Curt then attended Mercer University - Walter F. George School of Law, where they obtained a J.D. in 2005. In October of 2005, they obtained a Georgia Bar License from the State Bar of Georgia. In February of 2008, they obtained a South Carolina Bar License from the South Carolina Bar.
