Swapnesh Patel co-founded Omniscient Software Pvt. Ltd. in 2006 and served as the Chief Executive Officer. The company initially offered product engineering and re-engineering services for FinTech companies, banks, and exchanges. Over the years, Omniscient evolved into a successful FinTech product company with its products Firestart and Liquidice, which focused on cash management, payments, and treasury management. Prior to that, Swapnesh Patel co-founded CashTech Solutions India Pvt Ltd in 1994, which was India's first cash-management software product company. Swapnesh held various roles in the company until 2004.
Swapnesh Patel completed their Secondary School Certificate at Don Bosco High School, Matunga from 1972 to 1983. Swapnesh then went on to earn a Higher Secondary School Certificate from Ramnarain Ruia College in Mumbai from 1983 to 1985. Swapnesh obtained a Bachelor of Engineering in Manufacturing Engineering from Veermata Jijabai Technological Institute (VJTI) between 1985 and 1989. Swapnesh further pursued a Master's degree in Industrial and Product Design at the Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay from 1989 to 1991. Finally, Swapnesh completed their Master of Science in Industrial Engineering at the University at Buffalo from 1991 to 1993.
