Charles Wu

Charles Wu is a seasoned professional in analog and mixed-signal design, currently serving as Sr. Director of Analog/Mixed Signal Design at OmniVision Technologies, Inc. since November 2005. In this role, Charles oversees a team focused on R&D and product development for various applications including CMOS image sensors and medical devices, while also representing the company in significant industry working groups like MIPI Alliance and ASA Alliance. Prior to OmniVision, Charles held the position of Senior Member of Technical Staff at Vitesse Semiconductor Corporation from March 1996 to November 2005, where key contributions included designing advanced loss of signal detectors and integrated circuits for high-speed data communications. Charles holds a Master of Science in Electrical Engineering from the University of Southern California, a Master of Science in Engineering from UCLA, and a Bachelor of Science in Engineering from the University of Science and Technology of China.
