Pekka Orava

Pekka Orava has a diverse work experience in the technology industry, with a focus on sales, marketing, and strategic planning. Pekka is currently the Head of Europe Sales at Omnivision, a position they have held since September 2023. Prior to this role, they worked as a Senior Manager at Omnivision starting from December 2014. Before joining Omnivision, Pekka held the position of VP Strategic Marketing at Fujifilm from December 2007 to November 2014, where they were responsible for developing and managing strategic marketing activities for smartphone optics and camera module components in Europe and other regions. Pekka worked as an Account Manager at NEC Electronics from August 2007 to November 2007. Pekka also has extensive experience at Nokia, where they held various roles including Purchasing Manager, Image sensors, Cameras, ISPs from July 2004 to July 2007, Manager, New Business Concepts from April 2003 to July 2004, and Supplier Manager from February 2000 to April 2003.

Pekka Orava obtained a Bachelor's Degree in BBA - International Business from Aalto University in 2000. In 1999, they also completed a Bachelor's Degree in International Business at Indiana University Bloomington. Later, they pursued a Master's Degree in Business Administration and Management, General at Aalto University from 2002 to 2005.
