Dr. Luca Biscaro

Dr. Luca Biscaro is a Supply Chain Consultant at OMP since October 2021, with a strong background in inventory management and optimization under uncertainty, developed through a PhD at the University of Mannheim from February 2017 to June 2022. Research interests were shaped by a collaboration with BASF SE, where Dr. Biscaro implemented various optimization models using Python and Gurobi. Previous experience includes a Master Student role at BASF, focused on strategic market simulation, and positions at State Street as a Derivatives Administrator, and Alexander Mann Solutions as a Sourcing Specialist and Intern. Dr. Biscaro holds a Doctorate in Logistics, Materials, and Supply Chain Management from the University of Mannheim, along with a Master's degree in Business Administration and a Bachelor's degree in International Business.
